To experience one of
our Persian Kittens is the essence of Love itself, a
gift we will gladly share with you.
Remember that Persians are the
beauty queens of the cat world and worth so much
more for just their breath taking beauty. They have been
chosen for personality first, color and type second. All
the cats here are loved and kissed daily. They are
bathed and groomed several times before they leave so
they come come to you use to be being bathed and
groomed. We feed
Royal Canin kitten,
and use
litter crystals
in the litter box.
We have worked many years on
developing personality, along with beauty, to say
nothing of our concentration on health as a priority.
Your kitten will have that wonderful "Catinallity"
personality that we are so famous for, so there should
be no concerns about the temperament of your kitten.
We usually let the kittens go at 10 weeks of age if they
are eating well and have no issues.
Please bring a carrier when you pick up your kitten,. If
you do not have one, we are happy to provide one just
let us know ahead, the cost is about $30.00, and that
includes the tax We also provide links to some of our
favorites on the links
page.
We also ask that you not
de-claw one of our kittens/cats. It is an inhumane
mutilation that
can affect the cat in a negative way for life. Kitties
are climbers and love to run and
play. They may also stop using the litter box because of
nerve damage to their feet.
Education,
not amputation!
Our kittens will be scratching post trained so we
suggest you have a scratching
post when you bring your kitten home, see link
below for our favorite.
If you still have a problem, we suggest you get "Soft
Paws" for your furry friend.
Check out their website @
http://softpaws.com
After having "Soft-Paws" on for a few months, they
forget they have claws and you can remove them and
should have no further problems. Some places like L.A.
county have made it an illegal practice to de-claw.
If you have questions about de-clawing please read this
article written by a vet tech.

If your furniture is more
important than a cat not losing it's fingers and toes
then you should perhaps reconsider having a cat as a
companion.
From time to time we have an
adult
kitty
looking for a loving forever home. We only charge the
cost of the spay or neuter and dental for one of these
beautiful cats. If shipping is required, air fare and
related shipping expenses are in addition to the costs
mentioned above.
We expect a $200.00 deposit to hold your kitten, if
purchasing a pet, 1/3 of the
amount of the amount if purchasing a show kitten. We
only take deposits thru Paypal;
The link is found at the bottom of the "Available"
page.
If you wish to make the rest of the payment thru Paypal
that is also acceptable.
or you may send a postal money order and wait until it
has cleared.
We do not accept checks!
Whether you're interested in pet, breeder or show, if
you would
like to get a kitten from us, we may ask you to provide
references,
and sign a contract of sale. We reserve the right to
refuse the sale
of any of our cats or kittens to anyone, at any time,
for any or no reason.
Your deposit IS A CONTRACT and made in good faith. If
you place a
deposit on a cat or kitten, that is your commitment to
that animal, and
your agreement to these terms. All deposits are NOT
REFUNDABLE.
There are some extenuating circumstances where the
deposit may be transferred
to another kitten if you are unable to take the kitten
but that decision will be at the
breeder's discretion. If there is a problem on our end
your deposit will be transferred to another
kitten. You will have a one year time frame to chose
another kitten.
If these terms are not acceptable
to you, please don't inquire. If you change your mind
your deposit will be considered
payment for board, new advertising, time spent and
possible lost sale.
Your kitten remains available until the money is
received but will be
marked "reserved" as soon as the deposit is received and
"sold" when paid in full.
Once you have placed your deposit, that kitten will be
reserved solely for you and will assure
that unless something happens to the kitten, you will
receive that kitten.
Kittens stay here until they are at least 10 weeks old.
To protect their health, We do not
show them before they are vaccinated and ready to go.
We know you all want healthy babies and we do our best
to make that happen and letting everyone
touch and hold them makes that impossible. Remember they
are babies! There are no exceptions to this rule.
Thanks so much in your understanding of this. If you
watch animal planet you will see cats in shelters are
kept in plexiglass
cages when available for public viewing. That is to keep
everyone from touching them so they will stay well.
When they are ready to leave they will have had their
first vaccines, and be litter
trained.

Pet Quality-
Pet quality kittens are
healthy pets usually with longer noses and bigger ears
and unpopular colors, but should not be bred because in
some way they do not meet the CFA's standards. Breeding
rights will not be given, do not ask. usually starts at
about $500.00 for longer nosed kittens. Breeder Quality-
Breeder
quality kittens come close to meeting the standard and
probably could be shown to a Championship status with
proper presentation and grooming and may be capable of
producing show quality kittens. These kittens may be
purchased with breeding rights (to approved homes),
starting at $850.00 and up acccording to color and type.
Show Quality-
Show quality kittens come
extremely close to meeting CFA breed standards and
should Champion or possibly Grand with proper
presentation and grooming and may be capable of
producing show/top show qualities kittens. These kittens
may be purchased with breeding rights (to approved
homes) and would be an asset to a breeding program.
Top Show Quality-
Top show kittens are what we breed for, these kittens
are very hard to come by and meet all CFA breed
standards. These kittens will champion easily with the
proper presentation and grooming and could go on to
Grand status if presented well. These kittens may be
purchased with breeding rights (to approved homes) and
would be an asset to a breeding program. They may also
be purchased as pets but the price will remain the same,
they are after all show quality.
Shipping We do ship, at the buyer's expense, within
the U.S . The total cost for the carrier, vet
certificate and airline fee is listed below for coast to
coast within the states
We use Continental's Pet Safe
Program whenever possible. We feel they are the best
airline because they have a heated/air conditioned van
that meets all planes, so the animal is not subjected to
hot or cold temperature fluctuations.
http://cargo.cocargo.com/cargo/news/?type=news&id=88
The cost is usually $160.00 for
under 9 lbs, and $191.00 for anything over (always
subject to change by the airline). There is a $55.00
cost for the health certificate from the vet, if a
rabies vaccine is required, that cost is $9.00, and the
carrier cost is $25.00 plus tax. Other airlines are
running about $191.00 with a fuel surcharge.
If Continental does not fly
pressurized cargo into your airport then an alternative
will be found. All other airlines are subject to
temperature restrictions, and the cost usually starts
at $189.00 for 9 lbs.
Payment must be made 5-10
days before your kitty is ready to go or deposit will be
forfeited and kitten will be re-sold.
If for some reason you cannot take delivery of the
kitten on the date it is due to arrive, a $10.00 a day
boarding fee will be charged to continue care until you
are ready to receive your kitten.
We need that 5-10 days after payment is made to make all
the arrangements to get your kitten on the plane.

Kitten
To make the transition
and acclimation period an easier, less stressful on
for your new Persian kitten, it is back to the same
saying, those who fail to plan, plan to fail. It is
recommended that you purchase these items in advance
of bringing your new Persian kitten home.
Rescue® Remedy Pet is a homeopathic stress reliever
that:
- provides pets with a sense of security and
fearlessness so they may face challenges
and difficulties more easily
- helps pets to be more tolerant of other animals
- restores vitality, enthusiasm, and spontaneity in
pets
• helps with adapting to new surroundings (home,
kennel, stable, etc.)
Works
for people too
Food
-
It is
best to keep your new kitten on the same kind of food
he/she is accustom to eating as well as feeding times
and frequencies. A change in diet can cause
digestive upsets which can result in vomiting and/or
diarrhea. It is recommended that you do not
change the diet of a new kitten. In the event
you choose to change the diet of your new kitten, do
it slowly over time, give your new kitten time to
acclimate to his/her surroundings and get settled.
Diet change is not recommended for the first year. At
Catinallity, we free feed Royal CaninKitten to our kittens and Royal Canin
Persian to our adult Persians. We also
feed a combination of ground sirloin and Nutro
MaxCat kitten canned food twice a day.
Slight changes in flavor of canned food can even cause
digestive upsets.
Litter Box
-
Whether you choose to use a covered or uncovered
litter box there are things to consider. A
covered litter box prevents litter from being
distributed throughout the room due to a kitten who is
a vigorous digger. A covered litter box gives
the kitten the privacy to do their business without an
audience. Bear in mind, kittens are like
children, when the urge to go hits them, they gotta
go. One litter box per room is recommended for
the first few weeks then one per floor for homes of
multi-levels. Show your new kitten where the
litter boxes are, and put your new kitten in the
litter box. Keep their food in an area separate
from the litter box.
Cat Litter
- It
is best not to make any immediate changes for your new
kitten, cat litter is no exception. Whether you
choose to use the standard clay litter or the
clumpable/scoopable litter is up to you, the better
question is, "will my kitten use the litter box if I
change litter?"
At Catinallity, we
use
litter crystals.
Any brand is fine and can be found at your local pet
store or grocery store or you may order from our site.
If you want to switch do so
slowly so the kitten won't become confused.
Toys
-
Toys are a great way to
entertain your new kitten. Toys for kittens
should be thought of as toys for babies. If a
toy has moving parts, strings or parts that will come
off easily, it may not be safe for your new baby
kitten. Toys with strings are a hazard, shoe
strings, tinsel, lace, ribbon, yarn and thread are not
safe. Items that can be easily swallowed invite
trouble and a trip to the emergency room for surgical
removal.
Kitty condos
-
Just
like humans, cats and kittens desire to have a place
to call their own. A kitty condo is a great
place for your kitty to escape from the household
chaos for a quick cat nap. Giving a kitten a
place to call their own is also a great way to help a
child set boundaries as to when not to bother the
kitty.
Scratching
posts or trees
-
Many cat owners misunderstand
scratching behavior. Owners often ask "how do
I keep my cat from scratching? The best answer
is not to stop them from scratching, but rather
re-direct it. Cats scratch for three main
reasons. Physical things happen when a cat scratches,
from exercise and stretching to conditioning the
claws, but most importantly, cats are marking their
territory. I think wood is the best because it is not
wise to teach them to use carpet or upholstery since
this is what your furniture and flooring are made of.
I think these are the best,

Carrier
-
When selecting a cat
carrier, bear in mind your kitten is going to grow.
A cat carrier can be a plain plastic (hard sided) or a
soft sided carrier. The thing you want to
remember is to allow enough room for your kitten to
sit upright, stand upright and turn around.
Always place a towel or some absorbent soft material
on the bottom. There are some on this page that are my
favorites:links
Always place the carrier in the
back seat since airbags can crush them, and remember
to buckle the carrier in!Collars
-
Persian cats should not wear collars, as the fur can
get tangled and it will destroy the ruff.
If your cat
drags it's ruff thru the drinking water, you may want
to try having her drink
from a water bottle, they are trained to this before
leaving here.
